My Journey from Refugee to Sweden's Police Chief

Nadim Ghazale arrived in Sweden at age seven from war-torn Lebanon. In his book with Sara Nygren, he recounts his integration journey, the people he met, cultural clashes, and identity struggles. He grew up in Ulricehamn, studied, worked in crime prevention, and eventually stepped into the public eye - becoming "Sweden's police".

Many recognize him from his summer programme in 2021. Now he and key figures from his life are portrayed by two actors on stage in a production by Gothenburg City Theatre.
