Description was written before the event

Japanese-American musician Kishi Bashi performs at Babel in Malmö. An intimate concert featuring experimental pop and virtuosic guitar playing.

About: Kishi Bashi

Kaoru Ishibashi performs as Kishi Bashi, weaving violin loops, beatboxing and falsetto into a live show that moves between orchestral indie-pop and genre-defying dance-rock. His catalogue of five albums includes the critically lauded Omoiyari (2019) and the funk-and-city-pop-infused Kantos (2024).
