Aunts on the Run

Selma is searching for her late husband. Elsa longs for her new boyfriend. Despite their differences, they form an unexpected alliance and escape from the nursing home for a day - the beginning of an adventure neither of them could have imagined.

Aunties on the Run is a humorous and imaginative performance in which classic fairy tales by H. C. Andersen, Elsa Beskow and Selma Lagerlöf are woven into the story. Two heroines who refuse to let life stiffen, who seek new directions and who, despite age, sorrow and longing, refuse to abandon their dream of something more.
