Meet the Radio Correspondents 2026

Sveriges Radio's correspondents are on the ground when news breaks, wherever it breaks. From postings around the world, they deliver both rapid news reporting and in-depth analysis and background. Sveriges Radio operates the largest correspondent network in the Nordic region - 20 correspondents worldwide and around ten staff members in Stockholm.

One of the correspondents' key tasks is to cover events that might otherwise slip into media obscurity. As foreign editor Anders Pontara at Ekot puts it: "At a time when journalism and freedom of speech are under attack in more and more countries, it is of utmost importance to be on the ground."

The performance runs 1 hour 15 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of discussion. Participating correspondents will be announced in early autumn.
