On Saturday 22 August, Norrlandsoperan moves its programme to Rådhusparken for an afternoon of dance, opera and concert. Free admission for all!

Programme

15.00-15.30: The dance duo Land Before Time (Joanna Holewa Chrona and Yared Tilahun Cederlund) presents the work Waterkind, which explores the invisible yet powerful connection between two bodies without physical contact.

15.30-17.00: Concert with Norrlandsoperan's Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alexander Hanson. The soloist is soprano Sandra Bendrik, who in September performs one of the leading roles in the opera The Galloping Cure at Norrlandsoperan.

The host is Dan Turdén, Norrlandsoperan's artistic director for opera.

Bring blankets and picnic baskets. Novas foodtruck sells pita gyros in two varieties - pork and halloumi - as well as ice cream. The truck is located above the fountain in the park.
