Concerto for Tap!

Conductor Alondra de la Parra returns with a programme filled with rhythm and movement. The evening offers a rare sight on the concert stage: tap dancer Caleb Teicher performing Thomas Enhco's tap dance concerto Concerto for Tap. Manuel de Falla's Nights in the Gardens of Spain takes us on an impressionistic journey through Granada and Córdoba, and the concert is framed by Carlos Simon's Four Black American Dances and Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.
