Thorstensson Lundegård Quartet

Thorstensson Lundegård Quartet (TLQ) was formed when Axel Thorstensson and Gabriel Lundegård reunited at the Malmö Academy of Music after a year of studies in different locations. They began writing original material rooted in jazz and fusion, and when Alfred Svalander and Viktor Papaspiropoulos moved to Malmö, the quartet was complete.

The band draws inspiration from Yellowjackets, Rymden, Weather Report, and Esbjörn Svensson Trio. Their music is self-composed and aims to be accessible even to those who don't usually listen to instrumental music.

TLQ performs at Palladium on 7 August as part of the Malmö Festival. Doors open at 11:00.
