Wilma Holmes

Since her debut "Intruder" (2024), Wilma Holmes has established herself as one of Sweden's most acclaimed new voices in indie music - blending American melancholic storytelling with indie pop's melodic precision. Following her debut album, she toured extensively across Sweden and Norway, sharing stages with artists including Tingsek, Mariam The Believer, Vilma Flood, and Diane Emerita.

Now Holmes embarks on her most personal project to date. The forthcoming album "Transience" explores how memories gradually fade - a concept drawn from psychology and a theme reflecting Holmes' own studies in the field. In early April, she released the first single "Lonesome Night at Sunstreet" featuring Norwegian country artist Ole Kirkeng - known for his collaboration with Grammy-nominated Courtney Marie Andrews.

The album "Transience" arrives in full on 18 September, followed by a release tour across the Nordic region.
