Masood Boomgaard - Self Help Singh

South African comedian Masood Boomgaard takes the stage at Palladium Malmö on 2 October as his viral alter ego Self-help Singh. 🎤 The show is arranged by FKP Scorpio.

Self-help Singh is described as a comedic alternative life coach and "de-motivational speaker" - a character who, according to Boomgaard, appeared to him in a vision after he hit his head while panicking and rushing to the bathroom following a bad lamb vindaloo. Since then, he has shared Self-help Singh's "common sense" wisdom and de-motivational teachings with millions of people online.

The live show is a blend of standup, parody, and motivational lecture. Over his ten-year career as a full-time comedian, Boomgaard has performed in New York, London, Dubai, and during lockdown, in his father's garage.
