Driv Hunger - Hagar Malin Hellkvist Sellén

The performance takes place on 23 November at 19.30 and 24 November at 18.00 at Palladium in Malmö. Duration: 70 minutes.

Hagar Malin Hellkvist Sellén is a choreographer whose work explores working-class heritage, queer life stories, dance-hall culture, and the difficulty of letting go. Driv Hunger is a standalone continuation of her 2023 work Tiden det tar, and like that piece, Hellkvist Sellén begins the creative process from movement to see where it leads.

The work emerges from the body and the poetry of movement - an intuitive exploration where the floor becomes a space for physical and philosophical inquiry, a tribute to choreographic and dance craft. The title is borrowed from a work by graphic artist Lina Nordenström.
