Barber Figaro solves most problems. When Rosina and Count Almaviva fall in love, he immediately takes on the role of matchmaker - even though Rosina is locked away by the old Bartolo. Of course, everything gets tangled and absurd chaos breaks loose. Selfishness and empathy, greed and generosity - the opera examines human quirks and turns them into comedy.

The production was created in 2021 and is scenically stripped down but colourful, focusing on the characters and Rossini's music: breathtaking coloraturas, elegant ensemble singing and infectious joy.
