I list & lust

I list & lust comprises two short comic baroque operas with 300 years of history: Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's La serva padrona and Georg Philipp Telemann's Pimpinone. Both share a common theme - maidservants who scheme to climb the social ladder and, ideally, find a bit of love along the way. The production is modernized and adapted for touring, with baroque music accompanied by more contemporary elements.

We meet a clever and resourceful woman in two different historical periods. Love, relationships, and work were probably just as complicated in the 18th century as they are today - and the question is whether she's deceiving her employer or just herself.
