Alva and Mattias

Alva and Mattias Granström perform traditional music they have shaped in their own way while maintaining a connection to their heritage. Alva's singing is carried by violin that moves between lively dance rhythms and freer, lyrical passages, while Mattias' guitar brings both shimmering melodies and rhythmic drive.

The duo has extensive experience from the Swedish folk music scene through ensembles such as Norr om Stockholm, Bjäran, Fränder, and Västanå teater. After nearly a decade in Stockholm, they have recently settled in Lycksele.

The concert takes place at EMMAS in Saxnäs.
