I Am Carola - A Musical Life Story

Carola Häggkvist comes to De Geerhallen in Norrköping with her Nordic tour "I Am Carola - A Musical Life Story". The tour is an extension of her autobiography of the same name, released on 8 September to mark her 60th birthday. The book chronicles her childhood and life up to 2002 and is the first time Carola tells her own story.

Together with pianist Will Oaks, she performs songs that have shaped her - from "Krokodilbarnets längtan" and Elvis Presley's "If I Can Dream" to hits like "Främling", "Säg mig var du står" and "Fångad av en stormvind" - interspersed with stories from the book. In total, she gives over 30 concerts across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.

The outer doors open at 18.00. Outerwear is not permitted in the hall and must be left in the cloakroom (30 kr, paid via Swish). Bags larger than A4 format must also be hung up (30 kr). A bicycle battery may be brought along if it is in a bag.

Service opens when the doors open. Register at the bar upon arrival to receive your table number. Food and drinks can be pre-ordered when purchasing tickets - specify any allergies at checkout. Wheelchair spaces include one free companion and are booked via the web shop. When purchasing tickets, you have the option to donate 10 kr to Barncancerfonden.
