Guided Tour of Historic Palladium, Malmö

Guided tour of Palladium on Wednesday, 18 November, 11:00-12:00 (approximately 60 minutes). Tickets and more information at palladium.nu.

The tour covers the building's history from 1920, when glass and porcelain director Löfberg opened his cinema and concert hall at Södergatan 15 A. Notable performers who have appeared here include Jussi Björling, Alice Babs, and Helan och Halvan. It was on this stage that Carola won Melodifestivalen in 1983 with "Främling". After renovation, the building reopened in 2004 as a venue for music and dance, now operated by cultural organizer Next Events.

Much of the original interior has been preserved - the crystal chandeliers, ceiling paintings, and the Golden Foyer remain intact today.
