Boney M
Boney M performs at Platens Bar in Linköping. A classic disco evening with the biggest hits from the 70s and 80s.
Boney M. is a Euro-Caribbean disco group created in West Germany in 1974 by producer Frank Farian, whose original lineup - Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett from Jamaica, Maizie Williams from Montserrat, and Bobby Farrell from Aruba - became one of the biggest-selling acts of the late 1970s. Hits like "Rivers of Babylon", "Rasputin" and "Daddy Cool" topped charts across Europe, and the group has sold over 150 million records worldwide. "Rasputin" found a whole new generation of fans after going viral on TikTok in 2021, inspiring millions of dance videos. The group continues to tour in various lineups, with Maizie Williams and Liz Mitchell each fronting their own versions of the act.
Boney M. featuring Maizie Williams announced "The Final Curtain Tour" to Australia in April 2026, billed as the group's last Australian shows.
Liz Mitchell performed at the Joy Awards 2026 in Riyadh, collaborating with crossover group Il Divo.
Boney M. is currently touring across 4 countries with upcoming concerts in London, Leoben, Walton-on-Thames and Bremen.
"Rasputin" went viral on TikTok, prompting a remix by DJ Majestic that charted in the UK, US and Europe, and driving streams to nearly 8 million per week.
