Elin Forkelid is a Swedish saxophonist and composer who has been active on the jazz and improvisation scene for over 15 years. Her 2010 debut "Live And Alive" earned her the newcomer of the year award from Sveriges Jazzradio. In 2020 her quintet released "Plays for Trane", a personal take on John Coltrane's music that drew wide praise in the music press.
