About

Fejd is a Swedish folk metal band from Lilla Edet, Västra Götaland, formed in 2001 when the folk duo Rimmerfors - brothers Patrik and Niklas Rimmerfors - joined forces with metal musicians from Pathos and Nostradameus. Their sound weaves traditional Nordic instruments (nyckelharpa, moraharpa, säckpipa, hurdy-gurdy, jew's harp) into a heavy metal framework, with all lyrics sung in Swedish. Four studio albums span 2009-2016, the latest being Trolldom, which marked a decisive shift toward full folk metal.
