Georgian-British singer Katie Melua performs her biggest hits at Cirkus.
Katie Melua (born Ketevan Melua, 16 September 1984 in Kutaisi, Georgia) is a British-Georgian singer-songwriter who grew up in Belfast and London after moving to the UK at age eight. She broke through in 2003 with her debut album Call Off the Search, which topped the UK charts, and by 2006 was the best-selling female artist in both the UK and Europe. Across nine studio albums - spanning pop, jazz and folk - she has sold over 11 million records and collected more than 56 platinum awards.
Katie Melua released new material in 2025, including the EP 'I Dine Alone' and singles 'Half Full' and 'I Cried for You'.
Melua released 'Lucy Rider' as a single in 2024, followed by an acoustic version.
Melua's track 'End of Summer', recorded with Polish rapper/producer L.U.C and the Rebel Babel Film Orchestra, debuted on streaming services on 25 January 2024 as part of the soundtrack to the Polish film The Peasants.
Katie Melua is currently on a European tour spanning 7 countries, with 15 upcoming concerts including dates in Oslo, Stockholm, London, München, Trier and Leipzig.
Melua released a re-recorded version of 'Windows 14' as a charity single for the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund, dedicated to her late psychiatrist.
