Lars Winnerbäck (born 19 October 1975) is a Swedish singer-songwriter who grew up in Linköping and has been one of the country's most beloved artists since his breakthrough with the album Kom in 1999. His exclusively Swedish lyrics - touching on society, relationships and existential anxiety - draw on a lineage from Carl Michael Bellman and Evert Taube through to Bob Dylan and Ulf Lundell. With eight consecutive number-one albums and multiple Grammis awards, he has built a catalogue that spans generations of Swedish listeners.
Winnerbäck announced his 15th studio album 'Längtan till våren', recorded at La Fabrique studio in Provence, France, due for release on 25 September 2026.
Lead single 'Hälsningar' from the upcoming album was released on 29 May 2026.
A major arena tour through Sweden and Norway was announced for autumn 2026, with tickets going on sale 2 June - the band's first arena tour since 2023.
Winnerbäck set an audience record at Rosendal Garden Party in Stockholm, performing in front of 15,850 people in his only summer show of 2025.
Winnerbäck received the Grammis award for Årets Rock (Rock of the Year) for the album 'Neutronstjärnan', recorded with Kent members Joakim Berg and Martin Sköld.
