Magnus Uggla (born 18 June 1954 in Stockholm) is a Swedish singer-songwriter, composer and actor who broke through in the late 1970s with a sharp blend of punk energy and satirical lyrics. His 1977 album is often cited as the first Swedish punk rock record, and over a career spanning five decades he has released more than 17 studio albums. He is widely regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in Swedish popular music.
Magnus Uggla's jubilee show '50 ar pa tronen' completed its run at Lorensbergsteatern in Goteborg in May 2026, having sold over 175,000 tickets across Stockholm and Goteborg.
