Lordi is a Finnish hard rock band from Rovaniemi, famous for performing in elaborate monster costumes with pyrotechnics and theatrical staging. They won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with "Hard Rock Hallelujah", Finland's first ever Eurovision victory. The band has been active since the 1990s and released over a dozen albums.
