She has performed alongside Prince, John Mayer, Macy Gray, Quincy Jones and Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, and Billboard has singled her out as one of the rare 21st-century artists who combine genuine virtuosity with strong musical ideas. Her two studio albums - Just in the Nik of Time (2014) and Moody (2023) - span funk, soul and pop, and she also runs Queen of Strings, a competition aimed at encouraging girls and women to play instruments.
