Greek black metal band Rotting Christ takes the stage in Uppsala.
Rotting Christ is a Greek extreme metal band from Athens, founded in 1987 by brothers Sakis and Themis Tolis. They are one of the defining acts of Hellenic black metal - starting out in grindcore before forging a signature sound that blends atmospheric, gothic and symphonic elements with black metal. Over 14 studio albums they have woven together multiple languages, ancient mythology and literary poetry into a body of work that keeps evolving without losing its dark core.
Season of Mist announced a reissue of the 1998 EP 'Der Perfekte Traum', originally released on Century Media Records.
Rotting Christ toured North America for the first time since the release of their Billboard-charting album Pro Xristou.
The Blu-Ray edition of '35 Years of Evil Existence - Live in Lycabettus' was released via Season of Mist on December 12, 2025.
Rotting Christ joined Behemoth and Satyricon on the 'Unholy Trinity' European tour, playing major venues including London Brixton Academy, Paris L'Olympia, Stockholm and Helsinki.
The band released their 14th studio album Pro Xristou on May 24, 2024, which charted on the US Billboard Hard Rock charts.
