Göteborg Film Festival Open Air 2026
Göteborg Film Festival brings film and music to Bryggan for two nights. From Moroccan desert adventures to Shakespeare drama, followed by concerts and DJ sets under late summer skies.
The Embassy is a Swedish pop duo from Gothenburg, formed in 1999 by guitarist and vocalist Fredrik Lindson and keyboardist-programmer Torbjörn Håkansson. Drawing on disco, post-punk, balearic house and a deep love of New Order, they built a cult following through five albums and a deliberately anti-rock attitude that influenced a whole generation of Scandinavian acts - among them Jens Lekman, The Tough Alliance and Studio, whose labels took their names from Embassy songs. Their second album Tacking (2005) is widely regarded as a landmark of Swedish underground pop.
Datasal released D-Numbers, a full-album electronic reinterpretation of The Embassy's E-Numbers, on the Dream On label.
The Embassy released their fifth album E-Numbers on the new Dream On label, followed by a tour across Sweden, Denmark, France and the UK.
BrooklynVegan described E-Numbers as the Gothenburg duo's fifth album, finding them 'still at the top of their game'.
