The Lords of Altamont are a garage rock band from Los Angeles, formed in late 1999 by vocalist Jake "The Preacher" Cavaliere after his previous band The Bomboras dissolved. Their sound draws on '60s garage and psychedelic rock, American punk, British R&B and biker-film imagery - and past lineups have included members of The Cramps, The Fuzztones and the MC5. Now on their eighth studio album, they remain one of the most relentlessly touring acts in the underground rock circuit, with a particularly loyal following in Europe.
The band released their eighth studio album, Forever Loaded, on April 10, 2026 via Heavy Psych Sounds.
The band announced Forever Loaded and revealed that an extensive tour would start on 30 April 2026.
The band played a run of Spanish dates in May 2026, including Barcelona, Madrid, Burgos, Santander and Zaragoza.
The Lords of Altamont performed on the Little Steven Underground Garage Cruise in May 2025.
A show in Barberaz, France is listed for August 14, 2026.
