Finnish musician Timo Räisänen takes the stage at Garvaregården.
Timo Räisänen (born 25 July 1979 in Gothenburg) is a Swedish singer-songwriter with Finnish and Anglo-Indian roots, known for a distinctive falsetto he developed as a choirboy at Gothenburg Cathedral. He launched his solo career in 2004 after working as guitarist and backing vocalist in Håkan Hellström's band, and has since released nine studio albums spanning indie rock, folk-pop and Swedish-language pop. He won P3 Guld as best male artist in 2007 and best live artist in 2008, and made his Melodifestivalen debut in February 2026.
Räisänen made his Melodifestivalen debut with 'Ingenting är efter oss' in heat 4 in Malmö on 21 February 2026, finishing fifth.
The Melodifestivalen entry 'Ingenting är efter oss' was co-written with Joy Deb, Linnea Deb, Andreas 'Giri' Lindbergh, Lina Räisänen and Jimmy 'Joker' Thörnfeldt.
Räisänen released the single 'Tiger' in 2025, continuing a run of new music that began in 2024.
Räisänen released new music in 2024 and returned to touring with a full band (Oljudet) after years of solo acoustic shows.
Räisänen relocated with his family to Draguignan in Provence, southern France, in August 2020.
