Göteborg Baroque Vivaldi - the virtuoso from Venice

Göteborg Baroque performs great well-known Baroque works alongside lesser-known musical gems, often forgotten for centuries. The ensemble was founded in 2003 by artistic director Magnus Kjellson, who conducts the concerts from a world-unique claviorganum - specially built for the ensemble after the model that sounded in Georg Friedrich Händel's 18th century.

The highlight of this season-opening programme is the violin concerto in B major, also known as "La Caccia" - a breathtaking movement with concertmaster Fredrik From as soloist.
