Göteborg Baroque Vivaldi - the virtuoso from Venice

Göteborg Baroque brings a Vivaldi concert to Stora Teatern on Saturday 26 September 2026. The ensemble opens the season with Vivaldi's works that blend virtuosity and joyful melodies - from the celebrated "La Caccia" to lesser-known Baroque gems. Magnus Kjellson conducts from his unique claviorganum, specially built for the ensemble. Stora Teatern, located on Kungsportsavenyn, is one of Sweden's oldest active theatres, founded in 1859, and its classical hall with balconies creates an intimate setting for classical music. Göteborg Baroque performs four times across Sweden, and this concert marks the season's opening.
