Göteborg Baroque Vivaldi - the virtuoso from Venice

Göteborg Baroque brings a Vivaldi concert to Stora Teatern in Göteborg on Saturday, 26 September 2026. The ensemble opens the season with Vivaldi's works that blend virtuosity and joyful melodies - from the celebrated "La Caccia" to lesser-known Baroque gems. Magnus Kjellson conducts from his unique claviorganum, specially built for the ensemble. Stora Teatern, located on Kungsportsavenyn, is one of Sweden's oldest active theatres, founded in 1859. The classical hall with its balconies creates an intimate setting for classical music. Göteborg Baroque performs in Sweden a total of four times, and this concert marks the season's opening.
