Blåst på julkonfekten

Dan Johansson and Tess Paulsen have worked in theatre, film and television for over thirty years - the last fifteen often together - and eventually founded DanTess Teater. Their production Blåst på semestern, about a middle-aged couple whose week in the countryside goes awry, toured the country from Skåne to Norrbotten. Following its premiere at Gothenburg City Theatre in April 2023, the theatre immediately commissioned a Christmas version.

In Blåst på julkonfekten, Kattis and Matte plan to celebrate Christmas in a mountain cabin - seven days in the snow. The problem is that they have completely different ideas about how the week should unfold and what Christmas should entail.

The production is an everyday comedy with elements of improvisation and is highly interactive. It appeals equally to those who rarely visit the theatre and to regular theatre-goers.
