Blåst på julkonfekten

Dan Johansson and Tess Paulsen have worked in theatre, film and television for over thirty years - the last fifteen often together, eventually founding DanTess Teater. Their production Blåst på semestern, about a middle-aged couple trying to enjoy a week's holiday in the countryside where nothing goes as planned, toured the country from Skåne to Norrbotten. Following its premiere at Gothenburg City Theatre in April 2023, the theatre immediately commissioned a Christmas version.

In Blåst på julkonfekten, Kattis and Matte celebrate Christmas in a mountain cabin - seven days in the snow. The problem is they have completely different ideas about how the week should unfold and what Christmas should involve. The production is an everyday comedy with improvisational elements and is highly interactive.
