Avig

For some it's easy - they move confidently through the world, stylish sneakers, full control. For others it's harder: the body feels clumsy, movements come in the wrong order, and every whisper in the room is caught by parabolic ears.

Avig is a dance performance for the whole family about fitting in - in your body, in the group, and in the world. With humor, precision, and great physical presence, it portrays the feeling of being a bit different, and the joy of realizing that maybe it's completely okay. The performance had its world premiere at Dansens Hus in 2024 and was awarded the Swedish Theatre Critics' Prize for Children and Young People. Recommended from age 6. Performance length: 40 minutes.

Behind the company TUBO & Co. are the dancing composers Tobias Ulfvebrand and Hugo Therkelson, who together with director Martin Hasselgren created the performance.
