Guld!

Guld! is a children's opera about a poor boy who catches a golden, magical fish. The fish promises to grant all wishes - if the boy will only release it back into the sea. The boy hesitates, but his parents want bigger, better, and finer things. With each wish, the fish grows weaker and the ocean waves rise higher.

The performance raises questions about where the line lies between need and want, and what truly makes us rich.
