Diploma Concert Ekin Kuzukıran (violin) | Musikhögskolan i Malmö

Ekin Kuzukıran, violinist and diploma student at Musikhögskolan i Malmö, performs a solo recital at Palladium under the title "Samtal över epoker" / "Dialogue across Eras". The concert lasts 90 minutes.

The salon opens at 18.40, the concert begins at 19:00. Bar and Bistro open from 18.00.

The programme centres on music by Ludwig van Beethoven and Sergei Prokofiev, complemented by solo works from different periods. Together they span a stylistic shift - from Beethoven's dialogical language to Prokofiev's driving rhythm and cinematic lyricism.

Kuzukıran has previously studied at Åbo Akademi and Högskolan för scen och musik in Göteborg, with teachers including Øyvor Volle and Alexander Vinnitsky. She made her solo debut in 2021 with the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra and has also performed with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Opera Orchestra. Alongside studies at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Academy, she is completing her diploma at Musikhögskolan i Malmö under professor Erik Heide - a programme that concludes with Erich Wolfgang Korngold's Violin Concerto with the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra.
