Description was written before the event

Erling Fredriksson brings his tour to Kiruna on Thursday, 24 September 2026, performing at Kaamos, Aurora kultur & kongress. The concert traces a musical journey through Tornedalen, where folk, jazz and song traditions converge in an evening rooted in identity and heritage. Fredriksson is touring three Swedish dates this autumn, with Kiruna marking the first stop on this musical passage through the border region. Accompanied by his ensemble, he presents a programme spanning over three decades of work, blending regional traditions with contemporary expression. Kaamos serves as an established cultural venue in northern Sweden, offering an intimate setting for this meeting between artist and audience through music that draws from Tornedalen's deep roots.
