Blues Pills are a Swedish rock band formed in Örebro in 2011, built around the powerhouse vocals of Elin Larsson and a sound that fuses hard rock with blues, soul and psychedelia. Signed to Nuclear Blast after relentless European touring, their self-titled 2014 debut charted across Europe and reached #4 on the US Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart. The follow-up Lady in Gold (2016) hit #1 in Germany, cementing the band's status as one of Europe's leading retro-rock acts. Their fourth album, Birthday (2024), was recorded while Larsson was pregnant and released via BMG.
