Cockney Rejects + Support
Cockney Rejects take the stage in Linköping with a support band.
Cockney Rejects are a punk rock band from Custom House, East London, formed in 1978 by brothers Jeff 'Stinky' Turner and Micky Geggus. Their 1980 track 'Oi! Oi! Oi!' gave the Oi! subgenre its name, and the band's raw, working-class sound - built around football terraces, street life and sing-along choruses - made them one of the most influential acts in British punk. Signed to EMI after just four gigs, they charted several singles in 1980 and were eventually banned from Top of the Pops for their behaviour on set. Bands including Rancid and Green Day have cited them as a key influence.
Jeff Turner began writing a sequel to his autobiography 'Cockney Reject', co-authored with journalist Guy Shankland, due for release in August 2026 via Cadiz Music.
Singer Jeff Turner confirmed the band's schedule is booked solid through January 2027, with the new book 'Cockney Reject 2 (I Love Being Me)' set to debut at Rebellion festival.
The band played three consecutive weekends in November 2025, with shows in Geneva, Eindhoven and Belgrade.
The band performed at Kanal Rock festival in Norway and Bay Fest in Rimini, Italy, as part of a busy summer 2025 run.
The band unveiled a new lineup in January 2024, with Olga (Toy Dolls) on guitar, JJ Kaos (Last Resort, Anti-Nowhere League) on bass, and Ray Dust (The Business, Argy Bargy) on drums alongside frontman Jeff Turner.
