About

The Undertones are a punk band from Derry, Northern Ireland, formed in 1975. Their 1978 debut EP 'Teenage Kicks' became a landmark of British punk after BBC DJ John Peel played it twice in a row and later named it his all-time favourite single. The original line-up split in 1983, but the band reformed in 1999 with Paul McLoone on vocals and has toured regularly ever since.
