About

Colin Stetson is a Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and composer based in Montreal, originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He records entirely without overdubs or loops, using circular breathing and multiphonics to coax dense, orchestral textures from a single instrument - a technique that has made him one of the most distinctive voices in experimental music. Beyond his solo trilogy New History Warfare and subsequent albums, he has scored films and games including Hereditary, Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Menu, and collaborated with Arcade Fire, Bon Iver and Tom Waits.
