Foy Vance - The Wake World Tour
Northern Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance performs at Pustervik in Göteborg as part of his The Wake World Tour.
Foy Vance is a singer-songwriter from Bangor, Northern Ireland, whose music draws on folk, soul and Southern blues - a sound shaped by a childhood spent partly in Oklahoma. Signed to Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man Records, he has toured alongside Sheeran, Elton John and Bonnie Raitt, and co-wrote 'Galway Girl' for Sheeran's album 'Divide'. His seventh and final album, 'The Wake' (2026), closes a self-imposed arc of seven records begun after the death of his father in 1999, and earned him an Emmy Award for the Ted Lasso song 'A Beautiful Game'.
Foy Vance released his seventh studio album 'The Wake' on March 13, 2026, via Rounder Records, produced by Ethan Johns.
Vance announced 'The Wake World Tour', a 60-date run opening September 3 in Zurich and closing May 1, 2027 in Boston.
Album release shows in March 2026 sold out, including a performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
Foy Vance, Ed Sheeran and Max Martin won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for 'A Beautiful Game', featured in Apple TV+'s Ted Lasso.
A 10th-anniversary edition of 'Joy of Nothing' was released in August 2023, accompanied by a world tour celebrating the album.
