Göteborgs Opera is Sweden's second largest opera house, situated on the banks of the Göta älv in central Gothenburg. Since opening in 1994, it has built a wide repertoire spanning opera, musical theatre and ballet, and is one of the major music theatre venues in the Nordic region.
