Hawk on Flight is a Gothenburg-based jazz fusion band formed in 1976. Built around Matz Nilsson's fretless bass, bold improvisation and layered synthesizers, the group drew early comparisons to Weather Report and Electric Miles, and became a benchmark for Swedish jazz fusion.
