About

Nazareth are a Scottish hard rock band from Dunfermline, formed in 1968 by vocalist Dan McCafferty, guitarist Manny Charlton, bassist Pete Agnew and drummer Darrell Sweet. They broke through internationally with the 1975 album Hair of the Dog - home to both the riff-driven title track and their cover of 'Love Hurts', which hit the US top ten. Over 25 studio albums and more than five decades of near-constant touring, Pete Agnew remains the sole original member still active in the band.
