About

Raven Banner is a melodic death metal trio from Skåne, southern Sweden, formed in 2021 by musicians with roots in earlier metal projects. Drawing on Viking history and Norse mythology, the band released their debut album Rise Up Clan in September 2023 - produced by Alexander Backlund and mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator) at Fascination Street Studios - to strong notices in the metal press, including a full premiere in Decibel Magazine. A second album is currently in the works.
