The Haunted are a Swedish heavy metal band from Gothenburg, formed in 1996 by members who had just come out of At the Gates. Blending thrash and melodic death metal into a sound that was immediately their own, they broke through with their 1998 self-titled debut and went on to win two Swedish Grammy Awards. After an eight-year recording gap, the band returned in 2025 with their tenth studio album, Songs of Last Resort.
The Haunted released their tenth studio album, Songs of Last Resort, via Century Media Records - their first new full-length since 2017.
The band announced Songs of Last Resort and shared the lead single 'Warhead' alongside a music video.
A music video for 'Death to the Crown' was released on the album's launch day.
