Steve Earle is a Texas-born singer-songwriter whose 1986 debut Guitar Town put him on the map as one of country and Americana's most distinctive voices. Over five decades he has released 21 studio albums, blending country, folk, rock and bluegrass into music that is often politically charged and deeply personal. Beyond music, he has written novels, acted in HBO series The Wire and Tremé, and hosted a weekly show on Sirius XM's Outlaw Country channel. In September 2025 he was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry - the first artist to join during the Opry's 100th-anniversary year.
Steve Earle launched the 'Fifty One Years of Songs and Stories' North American tour, spanning more than 70 dates from February through November 2026.
Earle won Best Regional Roots Music Album at the 68th Grammy Awards for his contribution to A Tribute to the King of Zydeco.
