Elisabeth Meyer brings Violetta Takes the Bus to Änglagaraget K&M in Djursholm on Friday, 9 October 2026 at 16:00. This new musical theatre production merges Verdi's La Traviata with electronic music and contemporary storytelling - the operatic Violetta boards a bus and sings of her pain and longing as familiar places pass by the window. Opera platform SAD GIRLS and Riksteatern present this work as part of Elisabeth Meyer's Swedish tour, which spans nine performances across the country. The production offers a unique opportunity to experience classical opera in an entirely new context, where a terminally ill Violetta seeks life on her journey through Sweden.
