Violetta Takes the Bus

Elisabeth Meyer brings "Violetta tar bussen" to Musikens Hus, Konsertsalen in Katrineholm on Thursday 22 October 2026 at 16:00. Operaplattformen SAD GIRLS and Riksteatern have created a new production where Verdi's La Traviata meets electronic music and modern scenic expression aboard a bus. This is one of nine Swedish dates on Meyer's autumn 2026 tour. The production follows Violetta from the opera at the moment she meets Alfredo - terminally ill yet determined to live, she sings out her pain through Verdi's familiar melodies blended with an electronic soundscape. Tickets cost 300 kronor for regular admission and 250 kronor for members.
