From Chopin with Love

The evening opens with Grażyna Bacewicz's Overture, followed by Rolf Martinsson's Concerto for Orchestra - a work where all the orchestra's instruments shine in a colourful orchestration.

After the interval, Canadian pianist Sophia Liu, barely 18 years old, takes her place at the piano to perform Frédéric Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 - the work that Chopin himself premiered shortly after his 20th birthday.
