Bruckner's Eighth

When Christian Blex visited MSO in autumn 2025, a warm and creative dynamic quickly emerged between him and the orchestra. Now he returns - this time as principal guest conductor - to tackle Bruckner's monumental Eighth Symphony together with MSO.

The work moves slowly through tender passages toward a grand climax, where trumpets and trombones seize the moment with full force. The lines of eternity in Bruckner's Eighth almost suspend the sense of time.
